We will start The Sahara Desert trip from Marrakech, by leaving the hustle of the city behind and travel the rugged road to Ouarzazate through the spectacular scenery of the Atlas Mountains.

3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour
Marrakech to Dades Valley
- Depart Marrakech early morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
- Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture.
- Continue through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley, known for its spectacular rock formations.
- Overnight stay in a hotel or traditional riad in the Dades Valley.
Dades Valley to Merzouga
- Depart from the Dades Valley after breakfast, traveling through the Todra Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls.
- Continue towards the Sahara Desert, passing through small Berber villages and vast desert landscapes.
- Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness the breathtaking sunset.
- Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars at a desert camp.
- Spend the night in a comfortable desert camp, experiencing the magic of the Sahara.
Merzouga to Marrakech
- Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the dunes.
- Return to Merzouga village by camel or 4×4 vehicle.
- Depart Merzouga and head back towards Marrakech, with stops along the way for lunch and photo opportunities.
- Arrive back in Marrakech in the evening, completing your three-day adventure.
